The museum holds the largest public collection of works by cowboy artist and author Will James, offering an unparalleled look at his life and creative legacy. The collection includes original drawings, paintings, manuscripts, and personal artifacts that capture his deep connection to the Western way of life. James’s art is celebrated for its authenticity, portraying cowboys, horses, and ranch life with a storyteller’s eye and the detail of someone who lived the work he depicted.
