Getting Around Billings
While Billings is Montana’s largest city, navigating once you arrive is pretty simple.
Renting a car (if you didn’t drive here or don’t want to put miles on your personal vehicle) is often the top choice for visitors since it gives you the freedom to see not only the city but also nearby attractions and scenic routes. Parking is usually simple to find, so driving is a stress-free option.

If you’d rather leave the driving to someone else, the city’s MET Transit system covers major areas, while taxis and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft make it quick to get from the airport to your hotel or across town.
Downtown is compact and pedestrian-friendly, so you can comfortably walk between breweries, restaurants, shops and entertainment.

Biking is another enjoyable way to see the city, with trails and paths that connect parks and viewpoints. You can rent bikes for your visit at The Spoke Shop or The Bike Shop.
Whether you’re behind the wheel, catching a ride or exploring on foot, Billings makes it easy to get around and experience everything at your own pace.
