From medieval adventures to comic conventions and craft beer escapades, these events are made for those who love to dive deep into their passions. Pick your experience and make some memories only Billings can offer.

Craft Beer Week. Any craft beer fans in the house? May 10 – 16, 2026 is your week. Craft Beer Week is a full seven days dedicated to celebrating Billings’ thriving brewery scene, with a packed calendar of events at local spots all week long. Whether you’re showing up for the brewery takeovers, lacing up for the Last Best Beer Run, or chasing check-ins along the Brew Trail, there’s no better excuse to explore the best of what our local craft beer scene has to offer.

Montana Renaissance Festival. Hear ye, hear ye! The Montana Renaissance Festival rides into Billings June 6 – 7, 2026, and it’s bringing the whole kingdom with it. Expect your favorite characters, combatants, and period demonstrators alongside a spread of food and drink fit for royalty.

Billings Fun Con. The third annual Billings Fun Con takes over Billings June 12 -14, 2026, celebrating everything you love about gaming, cosplay, and comics under one (very big) roof. Explore vendor halls, Artist Alley, competitive tournaments, and interactive gaming zones, with panels and cosplay events all weekend long.

Big Skies, Bigger Sound

Billings’ music scene keeps your spring soundtrack full of variety. From outdoor concerts to legendary farewell tours, there’s a show (or two) for everyone this season.

Eli Young Band. If you love country with a little grit and a lot of soul, get yourself to the Pub Station Ballroom. Eli Young Band brings their Texas-rock edge and a catalog full of hits on June 10, 2026.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. After 60 years of making some of the best American roots music ever recorded, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is hitting the road one last time. Their ALL THE GOOD TIMES: The Farewell Tour comes to Alberta Bair Theater on June 13, 2026, with special guest Brit Taylor and you don’t want to miss it.

Symphony in the Park. Grab a blanket, round up the family, and head to Pioneer Park on June 28, 2026 for a free evening of orchestral music under big Montana skies with the Billings Symphony, complete with an instrument petting zoo and a kids’ conducting contest.

Charley Crockett. With his Age of the Ram Tour rolling into the Downtown Billings Skatepark on June 30, 2026, Charley Crockett is bringing Willie Nelson energy and Texas grit to a setting unlike any other.

From tribute bands to heavy metal, folk to classical, the music doesn’t stop there. Check out Pub Station, Alberta Bair Theater, and more for live performances all season long.

Lace Up for Some Spring Races!

Spring in Billings isn’t complete without hitting the pavement (or the trails) because this season is too good to spend on the sidelines.

Montana Women’s Run. One of Billings’ most beloved traditions, the 45th Annual Montana Women’s Run is happening May 9, 2026 in Downtown Billings, with 2-mile and 5-mile options and bringing thousands of women of all ages together to celebrate women’s health and fitness over Mother’s Day Weekend.

Last Best Beer Run & 5k. What better way to close out Craft Beer Week than with a run between breweries? The Last Best Beer Run & 5K on May 16, 2026 is exactly what it sounds like. Costumes encouraged, beer stops along the way, and a finish line celebration with live music and plenty of cold beer. Choose your adventure: a traditional 5K with beer waiting at the end, or the full experience with beer stations from 10+ breweries along the route. Either way, you win.

Skyline Half Marathon & 30k. Few races can compete with this backdrop. The Skyline Half Marathon & 30K runs along the top of Billings’ legendary Rimrocks on May 31, 2026 with sweeping panoramic views of the city, the valley, and the Beartooth Mountains. Choose your distance  – the half marathon (13.1 miles) or the 30K (18.6 miles) – and come ready to earn it.

Stampede Duathlon. Run, bike, run…and do it all in Montana’s wide-open landscapes. The Stampede Duathlon blends big scenery with an all-out race experience, starting and finishing at ZooMontana on June 7, 2026. And yes, the races are named after ZooMontana’s 2 resident bison.

Heart & Sole Run. Fun for runners of all levels, the Heart & Sole Run winds through the North Elevation Historic District on Father’s Day weekend, June 20, 2026. Choose from a 2-mile, 5K, or 10K, and know your entry supports the YMCA and Billings TrailNet. Oh, and it’s also the RRCA 5K National Championship. No big deal.
