Amusement Park Drive-in
The Amusement Park Drive-in is the old Park Drive-in from downtown Cody, Wyoming, which opened in 1946 and ran thru 2003. We then tore down the wood screen tower and hauled it to Billings. We rebuilt it during 2004 and 2005 and opened it in July 2005. Showing movies on both sides of it is our own concept. The front projection booth is a caboose. The caboose is a 1909 wooden model that I have owned for 20 years. My friend and projectionist, Charles Caron, and I have moved it 4 times through the years. My wife would bring it up every time we had a disagreement "and we have a caboose!" So I had to use it. The back projection booth is a 1938 truck that I bought out of the Billings Gazette for $300.00 and rebuilt in our shop, just to be different. Our amusement park consists of rides we used on the carnival and we are working on adding more this summer. This drive-in has been a labor of love for my family and friends so that your family can enjoy a true American family experience. We will see you "Under the stars"

Billings Motorcycle Club
The Billings Motorcycle Club ("BMC") was established in 1914 in Billings, Montana. For nearly 100 years, Billings has remained on the leading edge of motorcycling. The club promotes a variety of competitive and non-competitive events each year. These range from club member only rides, such as the Easter Egg and Treasure Hunt for the kids, to motocross and arena cross events, cross country events, flat track events, up to the club's signature event, the Great American Championship Motorcycle Hill Climb. BMC is a member driven organization, with over 350 member families helping the club on a volunteer basis produce more than 20 competitive events per year, maintain the club-owned property and serve as ambassadors to the local community and region. It is a rare situation where such a large organization can function without paid management, but such is the case for BMC, where all club functions are handled by the BMC Board and its membership on a volunteer basis. Because of the volunteer nature of the club, the number of club memberships is limited. Check out the events calendar for more information!

Billings Mustangs Baseball
History was made on Tuesday, May 4, 1948, when the Mustangs and Salt Lake City Bees played the first game of organized professional baseball ever to be staged in Billings. Billings Mayor H.E. Biddinger threw out the ceremonial first pitch in front of 3,280 fans who braved near freezing temperatures. Gene Brocker's long double in the ninth inning scored Kenny Jensen from first base, providing the visitors from Salt Lake City with a narrow, 3-2, victory and spoiling the Mustangs home opener. The Mustangs finished that inaugural season in last place. But the next season they finished second and made the playoffs. In 1964, the league was downgraded to short-season rookie league status and Billings dropped out of the Pioneer League. The Mustangs returned to the league in 1969 and won back-to-back championships in 1972 and '73. In all, the Mustangs have won 14 Pioneer League titles, more than any other team in the Pioneer League. The last championship came in 2003, with field manager Rick Burleson leading the club. The year 2009 will mark the 36th consecutive year the Mustangs have been affiliated with the Cincinnati Reds, one of the longest running player development relationships in professional baseball. As Billings started the 2009 season, 12 former Mustangs were on the Reds 40-man roster; Edwin Encarnacion, Joey Votto, Jay Bruce, Paul Janish, Adam Rosales, Chris Dickerson, Carlos Fisher, Ramon Ramirez, Josh Roenicke, Craig Tatum, Juan Francisco and Sam LeCure all played for the Mustangs. Other current Major League players who wore a Mustangs uniform include Adam Dunn, Austin Kearns, Jason LaRue, Ray King, Todd Coffey, Ben Broussard, Aaron Boone, B.J. Ryan, Trevor Hoffman, Dewayne Wise, and Corky Miller. Other notable alumni include: George Brett, Paul O'Neill, Tom Browning, Ron Oester, Gary Redus, Dick Stuart, Kurt Stillwell, Gorman Thomas, Reggie Sanders, Skeeter Barnes, Scott Williamson, Al Cowens, Kal Daniels, Rob Dibble, Lenny Harris, Ruppert Jones, Larry Rothschild, Larry Shepard, Scott Sullivan, Nick Esasky, Joe Oliver, Jack Armstrong, Tom Foley, Butch Henry, Jim Hickman, Reggie Jefferson, Don Wakamatsu and Danny Tartabull.

Dino Lab
Once dinosaur bones are excavated, what happens then? Most people don’t realize this is when the hard work really begins! Finding and excavating a dinosaur represents about 20% of the total time before the animal is ready to exhibit. Preparing the fossil in a controlled environment is extremely important before the specimen is ready for research. This is where the Dino Lab comes in. It is the official repository for all specimens collected by the Judith River Dinosaur Institute (JRDI). This lab has state-of-the art preparation equipment and visitors get to view the fossils and preparation up close and personal! Enjoy a tour, gift shop, exhibits, and much more!
